The “Southern California NFL Team” (name to be determined at a later date) will be a professional football team and stadium situated in Orange or San Bernardino County in the Greater Los Angeles Metropolitan area of Southern California. There are currently no other NFL teams in Greater Los Angeles. This plan will be used to define the scope of our business, as well as a means of gaining the necessary investments to open the stadium and acquire the franchise rights from the NFL. It will also be used on a continual basis in the evaluation of the Southern California NFL Team mission, goals, and objectives.
The keys to success for the Southern California NFL Team are the barriers of entry by competition, the size of the market (second largest television market in the US), the popularity of NFL football, ownership of our stadium, a central, southern location and our unique approach to ownership and funding. The Southern California NFL Team fills a void in the Greater Los Angeles area that has been present since 1995.
Professional football is a multi-billion dollar industry with lucrative television and advertising contracts. The Southern California NFL Team is conservatively projecting a strong net profit in each year of operation.
Objectives
The main initial objectives for the Southern California NFL Team are as follows:
- Acquire NFL franchise rights, land, city/county partnerships, build stadium, begin marketing campaign and hire CEO and Coach.
- Begin operation of supplemental business lines and activities.
- Sponsor and/or support two annual community events. Sponsor (based on team name) an environmental campaign.
- Starting with first home game, reserve special seating for local schools.
- Show at least a 3% return to investors in the first year of operation and an average 5% each year there after.
Mission
The Southern California NFL Team is a professional football team and multipurpose stadium. It is our mission to be the premier NFL franchise by creating an unmatched sporting atmosphere for our fans and owners with a focus on innovative business operations, environmental awareness and community involvement.
Keys to Success
The Keys to Success for the Southern California NFL Team are as follows:
- Greater Los Angeles Market: With the number two television market and over 30 million residents, the greater Los Angeles area has limitless, untapped potential. With no other NFL teams in the area and high start-up costs, an NFL team in Southern California is a near monopoly.
- Unmatched Sporting Atmosphere: Football teams are about the fans; without them the business cannot exist. Attending a football game is also about more than just the game. From tailgating to security, seating to parking and vending to restrooms, every aspect of the atmosphere affects the experience. The Southern California NFL Team is dedicated to hiring for customer service skills first (employees that make you smile) and creating a remarkable experience for our fans by creating remarkable experiences for our employees first. Couple that with a state-of-the-art stadium and the latest in technology with an environment that promotes fun and encourages participation of our fans and the atmosphere will generate electricity.
- Innovative Business Operations: The stadium is a key revenue generation medium for the Southern California NFL Team. In addition to housing the football games, it is also multipurposed, housing other events and local “sporting” themed restaurants and entertainment facilities. At the Southern California NFL Team stadium, tailgating takes on a whole new meaning with dedicated parking greenspaces, grills, big screen televisions, electrical outlets, pavilions and restrooms designed to facilitate the pre-game party. With our unique ownership opportunities, the fans become a part of the decision making process, giving every one in Southern California a stake in their favorite football team.
- Environmental Awareness: Stadiums require lots of space, many taking over 150 acres. With unique heating and cooling, water and electrical requirements, it is morally imperative that the stadium take all aspects of the environment into consideration utilizing the latest in conservation techniques and LEED ratings and certification. In addition, based on the team name, the team will sponsor an endangered species or environmental initiative.
- Community Involvement: How better to build trust and win fans than by being involved with the community? Community involvement brings out the best in people and the Southern California NFL Team will be uniquely positioned to carry out and endorse events, fundraisers and awareness.
Company Ownership
The Southern California NFL Team will be a privately owned corporation made up of potentially thousands of owners living within the 23 counties of Southern California. Each owner can purchase up to 20,000 units of ownership at $1,000 per unit. The limits of ownership may change depending on volume.
Some of the many benefits of ownership include: meeting the players and coaches before and/or after practices, owner's party before home games, priority season ticket purchases, and more.

Next Steps
Attracting enough interest in the ownership concept is the key to getting the attention of the State of California, various Southern California City and County governments, and the NFL. An initial SEO campaign, coupled with local media coverage, should enable us to have our voices heard.
At a critical mass of demonstrated interest equal to 10% unit ownership, we will make a bid to the NFL. The NFL bid will need funding and to that end, the parent corporation will be formed with initial investors providing the start-up capital for legal, filing and advertising fees. An escrow account will also be established and we will begin accepting ownership requests and placing the funds into the escrow account.
Pending acceptance of our bid by the NFL and with the support of various governments, funds will be transferred out of the escrow account to begin the initial development stages. At that time a name will be chosen by a vote of the owners and a final stadium location will be chosen.
